The Blend Workspace for Settlement Agents is intended to support seamless interactions between the lender, Settlement Agent, and borrower(s) for closing. Below are frequently asked questions that settlement agents might have:
Q. I never activated my account and my temporary password expired OR i can’t find or deleted the temporary password email. How do I get into my account?
A. - Temporary passwords will expire after 7 days
- If a user cannot find the email with the temporary password, they can press ‘Forgot Password’ and enter in their email to receive a new temporary password.
Q. I don’t know how to login, I’m seeing this screen (below) but I don’t have a password yet.
A. If it’s the user's first time being invited to Blend, they will receive a separate email that contains a temporary password.
Notes:
- Temporary password email is from eclose-service@blend.com with subject “Your Temporary Password”
- If a user cannot find the email with the temporary password, they can press ‘Forgot Password’ and enter in their email to receive a new temporary password.
1. Enter your temporary password.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Create your own password and confirm it.
4. Enter your mobile phone number (with a +1 before) for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
5. Check box to confirm that you've read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
5. Click Activate account.
Q. How do I reset my password?
A. If the user enters the incorrect password, they will receive an error message.
1. Click Forgot Password to reset the password.
2. Enter your email.
3. Click Reset my password.
Note: If the user has not activated in Workspace previously, when they press “reset my password”, they will receive a new temporary password email. If they have previously activated, they will receive an email prompting them to create a new password.
Q. I don't have a mobile number, what do I do when I reach the screen below?
A. If you do not have a mobile phone you can follow these steps:
1. Click Click here on the MFA screen.
2. Click Complete activation. Your account email address will be used for MFA on future logins.
Note: If you select to use phone MFA, you will receive a SMS code to your mobile device you will need to enter on future logins.
