Roles control the level of access for a user in Blend. Roles can include multiple permissions and multiple roles can be assigned to a user to stack access levels.
Note: Blend Support does not manage user roles and permissions. For any changes to your role and permission, contact your Blend administrator at your organization.
Creating a role and assigning permissions
- Go to Your settings.
- Click Setup.
- Select Role Permissions.

Edit a role or create a new role.
a. To edit an existing role, select it from the drop-down field.
b. To create a new role, click Add New Role and name it.
- Choose the desired access. Select Always to allow this functionality within the role or Never to restrict it.

Click Save.
Assigning roles to users
- Go to Your settings.
- Click Setup.
- Click Users.
- Select the user.
- Click Edit.
- Select the role from the drop-down list. You can select multiple roles per user.
- Click Update user to apply changes.
