User roles and permissions in Blend

• Will not see the New Loan button unless this is set to Always.
• The only options are Always or Never.
• If a user has Create Loans but does not have View Loans, they'll be able to successfully create a loan. But they will not be able to see it after that. 

• This permission no longer has an impact and will be deprecated shortly. It should be set to Never.

• View Documents and View Loans have to be enabled for this permission.
• Allows users to upload documents in Docs tab. If a user can View Documents, the Docs tab will appear; if they can Create Documents, the Upload File button will be visible to them.
• If they can View Documents, but can't Create Documents, the Docs tab will be visible, but there will be no option to Upload File within it.

• View Users needs to be enabled for this permission.
• If a user can View Users, Admin will appear in the drop-down when they click on their initials in the pipeline and they'll be taken to User Management upon clicking it; if they can also Create Users, the New User button will appear within User Management.
• If they can View Users, but can't Create Users, the User Management interface will be visible, but there will be no button that says New User within it.

• This needs to be enabled along with Create Documents, View Disclosures, and Bulk download loan documents in order for a user to utilize the Blend - Encompass disclosures functionality.

• It exposes the ability for lender users to invite a borrower to a loan and then exposes a simple pipeline of those loans to them.

• Can view all loans in the pipeline.
• Users with this Role permission will be able to see all loans in the Pipeline.
• The other options are view loans that are Assigned to You or when you are assigned to a process - these options only become relevant if the user also has Can be assigned to a loan or is Assigned to Processes.
• User will be able co-pilot the loan.
• User cannot make any changes to a loan application. All fields are greyed out.

• The user must also have View Loans permissions turned on.
• The user will then be able to export any loans the user has access to in the Pipeline that has not been exported and has the minimum required information (name, email and SSN).

• The user must have View Loans and View Documents turned on.
• The user will then be able to see the Documents tab and be able to download the application package and individual documents from the listed documents.

• The user must have View Loans turned on also. The user will then be able to view the existing processes for each loan in the overview tab.
• If it is turned off, the user will see There are no processes for this loan.

• The user must have View Loans turned on also.
  
• The user will then be able to view the activity tab.
• If this is turned off, the borrower will see the Activity tab but it will say no activities found.

• The user must have 'View Loans' turned on as well.
• The user will then be able to view the list of documents and have the ability to download individual documents in the Docs tab.

• The user will have the Admin option in the drop-down menu, where they will then see User Management and view the list of all users.

• The user must have 'View Users' turned on.
• The user will then have Admin access and see the Users and Roles tab

• The user will need to have 'View Loans' and 'View Documents' turned on.
• The user can then view disclosures in the Docs tab.

• If this permission is set to Never, the user cannot assign other users to a loan. 'Not Authorized' will appear in the Loan Team modal.

• Cannot be assigned a loan. Will not appear in Loan Team drop-down.

• If this permission is set to Never, the user won't show up in the Loan Team list (accessible on desktop via the button) in the borrower UI. If this permission is set to Always, the user will show up in the loan team list.

• If this permission is set to Never, the user won't show up in the Your Loan Team card on borrower home. If this permission is set to Always, the user will show up in the Your Loan Team card on borrower home.
• Note: Visible to borrowers must also be true for users with this permission to show up.

• Receiving notification emails about unassigned loans.

• Will not appear as a selectable option to borrowers when they're 'working with someone' in borrower happy flow.

• Allows user to add processes to loans they're assigned to.
• Requires the role to have both View Loans and View Processes on loans in order to be utilized. 
• User can only add processes they're assigned to in the Process menu.

• Allows users to remove processes in loans they're assigned to.
• Similar to above, must have View Loans and View processes on loans enabled for their role.
• User can only remove processes they're assigned to

• Allows users to edit applications via the application page when the role the permission is assigned to is present on the application

• Allows users to edit their pipeline view to include/exclude filter columns.

• Allows users to edit user profiles in the Admin > Users tab.
• Requires View Users permission.

• Allows users to edit role permissions in the Admin > Roles tab.
• Requires View Roles permission.

• Allows users to view the Configuration, Followups, Document Templates, Application Templates, and Milestones tabs in the Admin window.
• For non-Blend users, this permits them to see the Configuration tab, but only the Integrations section within it.

• Allows users to edit Integrations tab in Admin > Configuration > Integrations.
• Can toggle export file version (MISMO / FNMA), and export status disabling (automatically sets status to “success” when LOS primary key is set).

• Allows users to edit their own profile settings.

• This must be enabled along with View Loans.
  • If View Loans is set to Always and Delete Loans is set to When Assigned, can still delete all loans.
  • If Delete Loans set to Always, can always delete.
  • If Delete Loans set to Never, cannot delete.

• This must be enabled along with View Documents - set to Always or When assigned to a specific loan.
  • When assigned to a specific loan - can delete documents on loans assigned to me.
  • When assigned to a process via this loan - same as When assigned to the loan.
  • Always - can delete whether assigned to the loan or not, as long as I have permission to view the loan.

• View Users and Edit Users must be set to Always.
  • Delete users set to Never - can edit, not delete.
  • Delete users set to Always - can edit and delete.

• View Users and View Roles must be set to Always for this functionality to work.
  • Delete Roles set to Never - cannot delete roles.
  • Delete Roles set to Always - can delete roles.

Loan Teams

• Set to Never - will automatically only assign new loans to loan originator. If Loan Originator reassigns the loan to themselves, it is automatically assigned to their whole team.
• Set to Always - will automatically assign new loans to the originator's entire loan team.

• If View Pricing set to Always and View check rates set to Never:
  • can view products, but cannot view rate/payment
  • In order to View check rates, View Pricing must be set to always
  • If both View pricing and View check rates are set to Always, users can select product and check rates
• If pricing/check rates is turned off, users can pull credit in the loan structuring toolbar, but cannot run DU, select product or check rates.
• If pricing/check rates is turned on, users can pull credit, select a product and check rates.

• Gives users the ability to run a soft credit pull after hard credit has been pulled.

Lender Entered Mortgage App

• If Use Lender Mobile App is set to Always:
• Allows those with this permission to log into Blend Mobile
• LOs will still be able to download the app as long as they have a link, but will not be able to log in without this permission. Pretty straightforward.
