Q. When will Blend LO Mobile app be available for download?
A. It is available NOW!
Q. Is the Blend LO Mobile App free?
Q. How can we access the Blend LO Mobile App or how do we know if our institution allows its use?
A. For information on if your institution has enabled LO Mobile and any of the current features available within the Blend LO Mobile app, we encourage you to email email@example.com or ask your Blend Administrator. For additional information please see this article.
Q. Is the Blend LO Mobile app for Real Estate Agents?
A. The Blend LO Mobile app is only for our LO’s using the Blend Workspace however, Blend also offers a Real Estate agent app which is available in both the App Store and Play Store. For more information on how to enable your Real Estate Agent partners on the app, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. Does the borrower also need to download the blend app?
A. No, the Blend platform was built to be 100% mobile responsive and will adjust to whatever device the borrower is applying on.
Q. Will the Blend LO Mobile App have my branding?
A. The Blend LO Mobile app will not face your branding to you. However, when your borrower logs into their Loan Hub, they will see your branding there just as they do today.
Q. When you open the Blend LO Mobile App are you connected to the same information as on the desktop?
A. Correct. Your pipeline will carry over to the app!
Q. Can you import current Leads or Borrowers?
A. Once you download and sign into the Blend LO Mobile App you will have access to your current pipeline of borrowers in Blend. These leads and borrowers can also be saved as contacts to your mobile device. If you are looking for additional information on importing leads from a database or crm, please email email@example.com or contact your Blend Administrator.
Q. The features enabled within the Blend LO Mobile app will mirror the functionality I have available to me on the Blend Workspace?
A. The functionality that is available within the Blend LO Mobile app will depend on the features available within your production instance. We take feedback very seriously at Blend; if there is functionality you would like to see implemented within Blend LO Mobile, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know!
Q. Can we call the client from the Blend LO Mobile App?
A. Yes! The icons on the loan screen and borrower profiles will act as shortcuts to call, text or email directly from your mobile device.
Q. Ok, so we don't need to add blend apps in the phone contacts in order to call them. We can use phone capability but the data is from the app?
A. Correct, borrowers within the Blend App do not have to be added as phone contacts. Simply click the phone icon in the top right hand corner to connect with your borrower.
Q. Can we track or have visibility to the communications that go out from the lender user to the borrower in the mobile app?
A. No, since the text, email, or call will be carried out from that lender user's phone number. It will rely on the user's default applications for text, email, and phone.
Q. Are the real-time updates ONLY when the loan originator initiates the invite?
A. Real-time updates are available on any loan which you are assigned including loans where you initiated the invitation
Q. Are these notifications sent via your device's OS push notification or in-app notification while logged in to Blend LO Mobile App?
A. You don’t have to have the app open to receive a notification! Blend LO Mobile can notify you of important tasks and events within the app Notification screen as well as your phone’s native push notifications.
Q. Can we text a borrower an application link?
A. Yes, within your LO user profile, you will be able to copy your unique application url to your phone’s clipboard which you can then paste in a text to your borrowers. See additional information in this help center article.
Q. Are we able to run/submit for DU/LP from the Blend LO Mobile App?
A. Currently, you are only able to review DU results and findings from with the Blend LO Mobile app.
Q. Can we pull credit through the Blend Mobile App?
A. YES! Please see this help center article for information on pulling credit.
Q. Is credit pulled through our credit provider? Is it a hard pull?
A. Correct, Blend LO Mobile leverages the same credit configuration you have in the Blend Web Workspace. Currently, we only offer a hard tri-merge credit pull.
Q. Will you be able to see the full credit report from your device?
A. Yes, you will be able to review the full credit report on your mobile device either by clicking on the Credit Score or navigating to the Documents drawer in the Loan Follow-ups tab. See additional information in this article.
Q. Can you pull credit without email & phone number listed?
A. No, you must create a lead first which requires an email and phone number.
Q. Can an invitation be sent out to the borrower without first pulling credit?
A. Yes, you can invite a borrower to the application Loan Hub without first pulling credit.
Q. On Blend LO Mobile, is there an option for the loan officer to complete the application on behalf of the borrower?
A. Loan Officers must use the Blend Workspace on the web to complete an application on behalf of the borrower.
Q. From an audit perspective, how do you track evidence of consent for a credit pull?
A. Credit consent is captured within the Blend LO Mobile app and stored in within the Compliance Report within your Documents tab.
Q. Is it possible to hide any of the features. Can we hide credit, or pre-approvals if we don't want to use those immediately?
A. Blend LO Mobile functionality will depend on the features enabled in your Blend Workspace.
Q. Can we still use the pre-approval letter considering we are not a DU user?
A. Yes, but will be dependent on the configuration enabled in your Blend Web Workspace.
Q. Can someone log into LO Mobile while being logged onto Blend Web Workspace?
Q. Can we add borrowers that didn't apply through blend; to send pre-approval letters?
A. An application has to be completed using Blend in order to send pre-approval letters.
Q. Can you create Follow-up with in the Blend LO Mobile App?
A. Current follow-ups can only be created in the Blend Web Workspace. Information on current functionality can be found here.
Q. Am I able to sign documents using the Blend LO Mobile app?
A. Yes, any documents that require an LO signature can be signed using the Blend LO Mobile app.
Q. If an LO reviews a document the borrower uploaded and rejects it, can they send a new follow-up message to the borrower or will it auto push the rejection and send another message to borrower?
A. Currently, you are not able to accept/reject follow ups at this time. You may only view the outstanding follow ups and the uploaded docs. Information on current functionality can be found here.
Q. Can you price loans in the LO Mobile App?
A. Yes, Product and Pricing is now available to select and update directly from the Blend Mobile App.
Q. Can you tell me how the mobile app is compliant with the CCPA? How are you securing customer data such as SSN?
A. Blend will be CCPA compliant for any data Blend collects that is subject to CCPA. However, the information Blend collects in connection with an application on behalf of its customers is generally subject to a GLBA exemption. For any data that may fall outside of the GLBA exemption, Blend acts in the capacity of a Service Provider as defined under the CCPA. Blend will continue to maintain compliance with the CCPA and other applicable privacy laws, and will continue to maintain a high standard for data security to help prevent any potential data breaches.

Q. Credit reports - will the credit reference ID flow back into our LOS (we use the sync tool for Encompass)?
A. Yes, LO Mobile uses the same Encompass integration you have today.
Q. Where do we find the pre-approval letter?
A. All documents generated or stored in association with the loan file (including the pre-approval letter) can be accessed within the follow-ups tab under the documents section.
Q. Do you have an example of what the pre approval letter looks like? What information does it include?
A. The pre-approval letter generated in the Blend LO Mobile app will use the same configuration and format as the Blend Web Workspace. If enabled, your Blend Admin can provide you with a sample of the letter template.
Q. Is the mobile pre-qual letter compatible for the state of AZ?
A. Blend does have the ability to configure templates on a state-by-state basis. If you can generate a pre-approval letter for AZ using the Blend Web Workspace, you will have the ability to edit/re-send the letter using the Blend LO Mobile app.
Q. Do we need disclosures enabled in-order to use Blend LO Mobile?
A. No! While having disclosures enabled will provide a lot of value with Blend LO Mobile, it is not a requirement.
Q. Will we be able to request disclosures from the app?
A. Currently, disclosures have to be generated from within your LOS.
Q. The pre-approval letter can only be sent when disclosures have been signed?
A. No, the pre-approval letter is not dependent on disclosures being signed.
Q. What if I need to make changes to the pre-approval letter?
A. Currently you can edit and resend the pre-approval letter to any amount lower than the amount they were originally approved. If you need changes with a higher pre-approval amount, you’ll need to go back to your Blend Workspace.
Q. Does Blend LO Mobile allow you to re-run DU?
A. Currently, Blend LO Mobile only displays DU results and findings. To re-run DU, you must use the Blend Web Workspace. Additional information on running DU can be found here.
Q. Does Blend LO Mobile AUS to run on the mobile application?
A. Yes, Loan Officers can now run and re-run AUS, view a summary of results, and select results from the mobile application.
When your AUS prerequisites are completed, the AUS Findings option on the mobile application will allow your Loan Officers to run AUS.
Q. If I am a Branch or Sales Manager, is there a way to sort the pipeline by LO so I may see individual pipelines?
A. Currently our app only allows you to sort by borrower last name, or last activity. If you are interested in additional use-cases, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your enhancement request.
Q. Does the Blend LO Mobile app interface with our CRM?
A. Blend LO Mobile acts as an extension of the Blend Web Workspace, including the integrations and configurations. If your Blend instance is currently integrated with a CRM, Blend LO Mobile can be a great companion app!
