Blend offers loan officers referral links. Loan applications that began using your referral link, will be automatically assigned to you. Referral links can be included in web pages, email signatures, and other client-facing media.
Creating a referral link
The following sample email address and website will be used in this article.
- Sample Lender email address: sally.borrower@blend.com
- Sample Lender website: https://apply.blend.com
Standard syntax for referral links |
https://{Lender-URL}/#/signup?referrerId={URL-encoded-user-email}
|
Referral link sample |
https://apply.blend.com/#/signup?referrerId=sally.borrower%40blend.com |
We recommend testing referral links before publishing to ensure they work as expected. Incorrect referral links will not assign applications to the intended loan officer.
- Use capital I in referrerId.
- The @ character in the email must be substituted with %40 for standard HTML URL encoding.
- The email address in the referral link must match the email address in Blend.
- The email address is case-sensitive.
- If you run into any issues, contact Blend Support.
Finding your referral link
A standard referral link can be found in your profile.
- Go to Your settings.
- Click Account.
- You'll find your referral link in your Profile under Loan Officer Page URL.
Note:
- If the Loan Officer Page URL does not appear in your profile, it may be disabled for your organization by your Blend administrator.
- If you use a LO Page, the referral URL will have a different structure. See Loan Officer (LO) Pages for more details.
