Blend referral links – Blend Help Center

Blend offers Referral URL functionality that can be included in individual LO Pages, email signatures, and other client-facing media. When this URL is clicked, it will direct borrowers to initiate an application using Blend and it will automatically assign the application to the respective LO.

Create a referral link

Sample credentials

Sample Lender email address: sally.borrower@blend.com

Sample Lender website: https://apply.blend.com

Standard Syntax for the referral link

https://{Lender-URL}/#/signup?referrerId={URL-encoded-user-email}

Note: Information in the brackets should be replaced with your institution and personal email address.

Personal referral link sample

https://apply.blend.com/#/signup?referrerId=sally.borrower%40blend.com

Note: It is critical to have the correct spelling and syntax in the referral link. Any errors may result in not assigning the loan to the respective loan officer.

Note:

1. Use capital "I" in referrerId

2. The '@' character in the email must be replaced by '%40' for standard HTML URL encoding

3. The lender's email address in the referral link must match their email address in Blend - the email address is case sensitive
