Blend offers Referral URL functionality for LOs that can be included in individual LO Pages, email signatures, and other client-facing media. Once this URL is clicked, it will navigate borrowers into Blend and automatically assign the application to the respective LO.
The standard syntax for LO referral link is as follows:
Where information in brackets should be replaced with your institution or personal email address.
Lender email address: email@example.com
Lender website: https://apply.blend.com
It's critical that all the spelling and syntax in the referral link is correct. Any errors in the URL typically result in the application link successfully bringing the borrower into Blend, but not assigning the resulting loan to the original loan officer.
- Capital "I" in referrerId
- The '@' character must be replaced by '%40' for standard HTML URL encoding
- The lender's email address in the referral link must match their email address in Blend - email address is case sensitive
If you're not sure how to format your link correctly, or are running into issues successfully utilizing your link, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
