What are Release Notes?
Release Notes contain all the information you need to stay informed about what is changing in Blend. Release Notes areBlend’s primary method of communicating the following updates to our customers:
- New product releases and updates/enhancements to existing products
- Announcements regarding upcoming Maintenance windows.
When are Product Updates announced?
Release Notes are published biweekly on Fridays, with some enhancement announcements periodically mid-week.
You can find the date a feature will be available at the top of the Release Notes. Generally, new features announced in release notes are pushed at 6 PM Pacific Time on Tuesdays, unless otherwise indicated. Optional features are enabled by request.
How do I get notified of new Product Updates?
You must subscribe to the Product Updates topic in Blend Community by clicking the Follow button (login to Help Center required). Refer to How to Subscribe to Blend Release Notes to learn more.
Who can access Blend’s Release Notes?
While the Community is open to everyone, the Product Updates section is only visible to registered users who are logged into the Help Center. Registration with your work email address takes just a minute.
How do I enable these new features?
Some features are automatically enabled in your Beta and Production environments, while some enhancements need to be turned on for you by Blend. For opt-in features, you can contact your account representative or submit a request.
If you are new to Blend, discuss new features with the Professional Services team since they're already involved in your build.
Some features may be add-ons or functionality not yet purchased by your company. In cases like this, reach out to your account representative for more information.
*You must be an administrator or have authorization to make changes to your Blend environment. Otherwise, reach out to your internal administrator to request new Blend features.
What if I have a question or experience an issue with a Release?
If you believe something is not functioning as intended, and you have troubleshooting questions about the feature or something specific to your portal, you should reach out to Support to open a case directly where they can investigate your configuration.
